2015 Lambda Literary Award Nominations Announced

Lambda Literary announced the nominees for their 27th annual awards on March 4th, celebrating the achievements in gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender writing from the previous year. This year a record number of submissions were received so the shortlists in all 24 categories were cause of much discussion amongst the over 100 literary professionals who volunteered their time as judges.

Congratulations to our member publishers who received nominations this year:

Arsenal Pulp Press for She of the Mountains by Vivek Shraya in the Bisexual Fiction category, and When Everything Feels Like the Movies by Raziel Reid in the LGBT Children's/Young Adult category.

Coach House Books for Janey's Arcadia by Rachel Zolf and MxT by Sina Queyras, both in the Lesbian Poetry category.

Oolichan Books for Cease: a memoir of love, loss and desire by Lynette Loeppky in the Lesbian Memoir/Biography category.
