Literary Press Group of Canada congratulates newly appointed Minister of Canadian Heritage

The Literary Press Group of Canada (LPG), Canada’s national association of literary publishers, would like to congratulate Steven Guilbeault on being named Minister of Canadian Heritage.

“On behalf of our members from across the country and the writers, artists, and book industry professionals they support, I would like to personally congratulate Mr. Guilbeault on his appointment to Cabinet,” said Hazel Millar, Chair of the LPG. “We look forward to working with Mr. Guilbeault to grow and sustain our vibrant Canadian literary culture.”

The Literary Press Group of Canada (LPG) is a not-for-profit association of Canadian literary book publishers. With a membership of 60 Canadian-owned and -operated publishing houses, the LPG helps member publishers sell, distribute, and market their books to booksellers, libraries, and institutions, as well as directly to readers.
