2015 British Columbia Book Award Winners Revealed

The West Coast Book Society recently revealed the winners of their annual awards. Celebrating the best in writing, illustrating, and publishing from the province of British Columbia, they handed out eight awards, including best in fiction and poetry, as well as a booksellers' choice award.

We'd like to congratulate our members and their authors who took home prizes:

Arsenal Pulp Press & Aaron Chapman for Live at the Commodore: The Story of Vancouver's Historic Commodore Ballroom, which won the Bill Duthie Booksellers' Choice Award

Talonbooks & Cecily Nicholson for From the Poplars, which won the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize
