Quebec Writers' Federation Announces 2015 Award Nominees

The Quebec Writers’ Federation recently announced the nominees for their 2015 awards. Each year the awards are handed out to the best English-language writers to emerge from Quebec in the categories of Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, First Book, Translation, and Children’s and Young Adult Literature.

Coach House Books & David McGimpsey for Asbestos Heights, nominated for the A.M. Klein Prize for Poetry

Guernica Editions & H. Nigel Thomas for No Safeguards, nominated for the Paragraphe Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction

Talonbooks & Phyllis Aronoff and Howard Scott for As Always, nominated for the Cole Foundation Prize for Translation

Véhicule Press & Anita Anand for Swing in the House and Other Stories, nominated for the  Concordia University First Book Prize
