OLA Releases 2015 Forest of Reading Nominees

The Ontario Library Association has released the 2015 nominees for its eight reading programs as part of the Forest of Reading. The largest recreational reading program in Canada, the Forest of Reading encourages people of all ages to become booklovers. Readers can participate through their school, public library, or even on their own.

Two LPG members had titles nominated this year. Our congratulations to:

Coteau Books & Jacqueline Guest for The Comic Book War, part of the Red Maple program for grades 7 - 8

ECW Press & Evan Munday for Dial "M" for Morna, book two of the Dead Kid Detective Agency series, part of the Silver Birch program for grades 3 - 6

Most schools begin their programs in December or January in anticipation voting in April and the Festival of Reading events taking place around Ontario in May. To learn more about the Forest of Reading program and view a full list of this year's nominees, please visit the OLA website.
